Shop Small Holiday Gift Guide
We’ve been hearing so many of you say that you want to support local this holiday season (yeay, you guys rock!). So, we’ve put together this gift guide to help you shop, with some of the best products from our favourite Western Canadian makers!
For the Foodie
Give the gift of deliciousness with a jar of flavoured, creamed honey from Smeaton, Saskatchewan based GC Honeybees. With more than 20 years of honey production experience, you can expect nothing but the highest quality 100% pure unpasteurized raw creamed Canadian honey. GC Honeybees honey is white and smooth, and oh so delicious! The Cinnamon Honey is definitely a favourite, but the new Rum & Eggnog Flavour is giving it a run for its money!
Or, spice it up a notch with some of Crystal’s Can Co.’s Hot Sauce (…see what we did there.). Based in Calgary, AB. Crystal has created a group of habanero hot sauces lovingly referred to as the Mamas. The Mama’s are pure, natural and absolutely packed with guilt free flavour, making them the perfect addition to any recipe from breakfast to dinner. For the friend who likes a bit of heat, we recommend Ouchie Mama, the hottest in the group of Mamas, and oh so delicious. For the friend who can’t even eat a banana pepper without crying, stick to Mellow Mama – this garlic based sauced is super mild and delicious. Did we mention the first ingredient in all the Mamas is carrots!? So. Awesome.
For the Eco Conscious
NaturaPure Dryer balls make the perfect gift for the eco conscious friend on your list. NaturaPure is an Alberta based company determined to help people make the change to more eco friendly products. Their wool dryer balls replace dryer sheets and fabric softeners, all while reducing drying time, static and wrinkles. Sounds like a win-win to us!
P.S. If you’re filling a stocking….these take up a ton of room. 😉

Why not treat mom to a one of Rogue Jewelry’s mama bear necklaces! Sure to bring a smile to mom’s face they are available in both silver stainless steel and gold plated stainless steel. For The Friend that Needs a Break
2020 has certainly been a challenging year. Most of us could use some time to unwind and relax. And with the cold weather about to hit a warm soak in the bath sounds like just the ticket.
Give the gift of relaxation with some bath salts and a bath bomb or two from Lamb’s Soapworks. Lara, the artisan and visionary behind Lamb’s Soapworks, is committed to providing the best hand-crafted natural bath and body products. All of their creations are made in small batches with the highest quality, sustainably sourced, vegetable based butters and oils.
It’s so hard to choose a favourite, but the ‘Relax’ dead sea bath salts might take the cake with their soothing blend of lavender, rosemary, and bergamot essential oils. The Rosewood Vanilla & Jasmine Sandalwood bath bombs are quite the treat too!
For the Boho Babe
Rogue Jewelry’s Zodiac Necklaces are definitely one of our customer’s favourite items to gift this year. We know the Boho Babe on your list will love them, whether she’s a practical and analytical Virgo, or a passionate and stubborn Scorpio. 😊
We also really love these fuchsia tassel earrings from Calgary based jewelry designer, AH Designs.
For the Kiddos
We can’t resist Posh & Cozy’s adorable crewneck sweaters this season. The ‘Handsome’ crew has definitely been a popular style, but, like, how adorable is this cactus print one too!? Posh & Cozy is a handmade shop run by two sisters based out of Lloydminster & Red Deer!
Or for the new mama, why not gift one of these irresistible mama & me matching rib knit modal tops. The children’s are made to last – these modal pieces can be worn as a dress at first, and then transitioned into a top as the little one grows! Lou & Bear creates soft sustainable basics for the littles out of Winnepeg, MB.
For the Impossible to Buy For
We all have that person on our list that stumps us every year. For these persnickety peeps we recommend one of Charleston & Harlow’s luxury soy candles. Their seasonal scents will blow the receivers doubts away with the first sniff!
Featuring notes of tart apples, cinnamon and spices, and finished with vanilla and oak, the 'Mull it Over' candle is sure to impress. We’re also loving the ‘Mad for Plaid’ addition to their fall collection, featuring warm woodsy notes of cedar, ash, and fir, with soft undertones of lily of the valley, and rose, finished off with rich amber and vanilla.
Thanks so much for shopping with us this holiday season; it really does mean the world to our small shop. You make it possible for us to offer these beautiful products from our incredible local makers and shakers!
